Wolfsburg boss comments on van de Ven speculation

Micky van de Ven is said to be close to a move to Tottenham, but Wolfsburg boss Marcel Schaefer insists no offer has been made for the centre-back.

"I follow the speculation. But not a single offer has landed on our desk," Schäfer told AZ/WAZ.
"I have not spoken to him either, there is no reason to do so. I expect him back in Wolfsburg next week," he added.
However, reports surrounding the central defender's future tell a different story.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Wolfsburg are in talks with Tottenham about the defender and an agreement is believed to be close.
