Florian Wirtz reportedly planning move to Bayern

Florian Wirtz could see himself joining Bayern Munich when he decides it's time to leave Bayer Leverkusen, Sky Germany reports.

Bayer Leverkusen prodigy Florian Wirtz is eyeing a move to Bayern Munich as the next step in his career, according to Sky Germany.

The report claims that if possible, the 20-year-old would like to play for the German champions before moving abroad at a later stage in his career.

The interest is said to be mutual, with Bayern having monitored the youngster for a long time.

It seems inevitable that Wirtz will leave Leverkusen at some point, the only question is when. Sky report that a move is possible after next year's Euros, but Die Werkself, who value him at over 120 million, are hoping to keep him until 2025.

If he were to join Bayern, Wirtz could come in as a replacement for Jamal Musiala, or he could play alongside his Germany teammate.

Among others, Real Madrid are also said to be looking into the possibility of signing Wirtz.
