Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong has reportedly decided to take the next step in his career next summer.
Jeremie Frimpong wants to leave Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season, according to Sky Germany.
The Dutch right-back is "as good as gone" next summer, the German media outlet claims.
Frimpong only extended his contract until 2028 around two months ago, signing a deal that reportedly includes a release clause of €40 million.
It remains to be seen where the former Celtic right-back will end up. He has been linked with a host of top clubs, including Real Madrid and Manchester United.
The 22-year-old has scored six goals and laid on seven assists in 17 games for Leverkusen this season.
