Dortmund expect Kobel back against Bayern
Gregor Kobel missed out again for Borussia Dortmund on Sunday evening, but the goalkeeper is not expected to be out for long and should be fit to face Bayern after the international break.
Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic has explained Gregor Kobel's absence against Eintracht Frankfurt, stating that the goalkeeper is expected to be fit to face Bayern Munich after the international break.
Kobel returned from a spell on the sidelines for victories over Werder Bremen and PSV, but missed Sunday's 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt due to adductor problems.
Borussia Dortmund fans can breathe a sigh of relief, however, as BVB coach Edin Terzic revealed after the game that the injury isn't serious and that the 26-year-old had been left out as a "precautionary measure".
"In the last few days, especially yesterday in the final training session and again this morning, he didn't feel quite at 100 percent," Terzic said at a press conference on Sunday evening.
The BVB coach added that he "strongly" expects Kobel to return to training in the next few days and that he could possibly join the Swiss national team.
His participation in the match against Bayern Munich after the international break doesn't seem to be in danger.
"I assume that he will be able to be on the pitch in 13 days," Terzic emphasized
