Report: Leroy Sané inclined to stay in England amid Bayern interest

Manchester City winger Leroy Sané will probably not be joining Bayern München this summer, according to recent reports.
It's looking increasingly unlikely that Leroy Sané will leave Manchester City to join Bayern München this summer.

The German international hasn't officially rejected Bayern at this point, but has told his circle of acquaintances that he prefers to stay in England, according to corresponding reports from The Sun and Bild.

Nevertheless, when asked about Sané on Sunday, Bayern president Uli Hoeness didn't want to rule out anything and said it should be possible to reach an agreement on a transfer if Sané decides he wants to come.

"We should be able to work something out if he wants to," he told Bild.

Bayern have already brought in Lucas Hernandez, Benjamin Pavard and Jann Fiete-Arp ahead of the 2019/20 season, and Hoeness admits that he's start to get fed up with the focus on further new signings.

"I must honestly say that it's getting on my nerves that one is only defined by purchases. We've just won two titles and should all celebrate now. I can assure that there will be a good team on the pitch on August 15," he told Sky.
