Julian Brandt: I won't put my friendship with Havertz on hold
Borussia Dortmund's Julian Brandt is looking forward to facing Kai Havertz and the rest of his former Leverkusen teammates on Saturday.

The 23-year-old completed a €25 million move to Dortmund ahead of this season and is excited about facing his former club for the first time since joining BVB.
"I'm looking forward to the game. I haven't seen many of the guys for a few months. I think Dortmund versus Leverkusen is always a nice game with a lot of goals and plenty of action. We have a good chance of showing that we're back after the unfortunate loss in Berlin," Brandt said in an interview with Kicker TV, referring to Dortmund's surprising 1-3 loss to Union Berlin on Matchday 3.
During his time at Bayer Leverkusen, Brandt established a special friendship with Kai Havertz in particular, and he insists they will remain friends even when they are up against each other on the pitch.
"I'm not the type of guy who puts the friendship on hold for 90 minutes. I won't kick his legs. He's a fantastic footballer, but we'll try to make sure that he doesn't score on Saturday," Brandt said.
Brandt and Dortmund sit fifth in the Bundesliga table - one point behind fourth-placed Leverkusen.
