Rummenigge hails Lewandowski and Kane as the best strikers in the world

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge waxes lyrical about Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane ahead of Bayern München's clash with Tottenham on Tuesday.
Bayern München CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has singled out Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane as the best forwards in the world.

Speaking ahead of Bayern's Champions League clash with Kane and Tottenham in London on Tuesday, Rummenigge told reporters:

"They are perhaps the best strikers in the world at the moment and both play a vital role."

"Kane is a top player who scores an incredible number of goals - just like Robert does. Robert is on a great run of form, and I hope he will outscore Harry Kane on Tuesday. But it's not easy to keep him quiet. He's a world class forward," Rummenigge said.

Lewandowski has scored 12 goals in nine games for Bayern this season while Kane has netted six times in eight appearances for Tottenham so far.
