Hertha BSC want to bring in a new goalkeeper for the 2020/21 season, according to Kicker.

Rune Jarstein, who was the club's first-choice goalkeeper for four and a half years, recently lost his spot in the starting eleven to Thomas Kraft.

"Thomas helps the team with his personality, he leads them from behind," Hertha coach Alexander Nübel told Kicker about his decision to put Kraft in goal.

The 31-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, but Hertha aren't planning to offer him a new deal, as per Kicker.

Jarstein, 35, is under contract until 2021.
