FC Köln boss Horst Heldt has given an injury update on Mark Uth and Jhon Cordoba ahead of Sunday's Bundesliga clash with Augsburg.

Uth was unavailable for Köln's 2-4 loss to RB Leipzig on Monday due to a muscular problem, but should be able to return against Augsburg, says Heldt.

"I believe that he will be fit again against Augsburg. It is a light strain. I'm not a doctor, but I'm optimistic," the Köln boss said, as cited by the club.

Cordoba limped off midway through the first half of Monday's game after scoring the opener. Fortunately for Köln, his injury doesn't appear to be serious.

"He took a knock. We hope that he will be fit again for the game against Augsburg. On Wednesday, we have the day off. Whether or not he'll be back on Thursday, we will see," said Heldt.
