Sebastiaan Bornauw's agent, Daniel van Buyten, has dismissed reports speculation linking his client with a move away from FC Köln.

The 21-year-old centre-back is understood to have attracted interest from various clubs after nailing down a starting spot in his first season at FC Köln, scoring six goals in 28 Bundesliga games after his move from Anderlecht last summer.

But Bornauw, who still has four year left on his contract, will not be going anywhere at this point, insists his agent.

"Sebastiaan is a young player with great potential - no question about it. But there is no reason at all to make a switch. On the contrary: He feels very comfortable in Köln and has everything he needs here. This is exactly the club Sebastiaan needed in order to develop and show himself off," van Buyten told Bild.
