Borussia Mönchengladbach newcomer Valentino Lazaro says his injury isn't bad as first feared.
When Lazaro sustained a muscle injury at the end of August, it was initially suggested that he could be sidelined for up to eight weeks, but the 24-year-old is certain he won't be out for that long.
"I feel very well again," Lazaro said in an interview with Sportbuzzer and added:
"The initial diagnosis was that I would be out for six to eight weeks, but I am confident I will be back on the pitch much faster. I shouldn't be in danger of missing the start of the Champions League."
Lazaro has joined Gladbach on loan from Inter for the 2020/21 season.
