RB Leipzig are understood to be on the verge of completing a deal to sign Mohamed Simakan from French side Racing Strasbourg.
According to French broadcaster TF1, the 20-year-old will sign a contract until 2026 with RB Leipzig once he has gone through a medical.
'Die Roten Bullen' are reportedly ready to put €15 million on the table for the young centre-back, who is currently sidelined with a knee injury.
He could come in to replace Dayot Upamecano, who is considered likely to leave Leipzig this summer.
