But, speaking to DPA, FC Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge underlines that the German champions have no intentions of letting their coach go this summer.
"We would be crazy to let Flick go early," said Rummenigge.
"It is the most successful period in the history of FC Bayern München," added the Bayern chief, who went on to underline that Flick is still under contract until 2023.
The FC Bayern CEO had a conversation with German Football Association (DFB) president Fritz Keller earlier this week.
"I think it is correct by the DFB not to contact a coach, who is under contract beyond June 2021.
"It was an open conversation. He confirmed the DFB's position to me, which I find very decent."
Bild, however, has claimed that Flick might not stay at Bayern beyond the summer due to a strained relationship with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic.
