Facing off with VfB Stuttgart tomorrow, just three days out from a DFB-Pokal semi-final against Bayer Leverkusen, Vincent Kompany stayed tight-lipped regarding player rotation.
“It's not really about rotation. We've been doing it all season. We're utilising the squad because we need to," the Bavarians' head coach explained at his press conference today.
“It's made us better and always helped us. We've got competition. People want to prove themselves for games. Competition is our strength,” he added.
After confirming that only Lennart Karl, Tom Bischof and Sven Ulreich will be absent with injuries, Kompany suggested Bayern won't party too hard if the title is wrapped up with a win tomorrow.
“The title only matters at the end of the season. We're playing against one of our toughest opponents. Looking at the recent matches, they've always been very close.
"I expect a physical game. Stuttgart are not only technically gifted but also physically very strong. They can also be dangerous with long balls.
“They have the second-best attack. It's also a good game for the fans; there will be a great atmosphere,” Kompany added, looking forward to the clash with the Swabians.
