Confirmed: Leverkusen complete Jedvaj offload
While getting the final details ironed out took a little longer than expected, Bayer 04 Leverkusen finally confirmed on Saturday that defender Tin Jedvaj was off to join Ralf Rangnick at Lokomotiv Moscow.
Some six days after all parties involved confirmed talks, Tin Jedvaj's transfer to the Russian Premiership is complete. Most German media sources do not confirm a transfer fee at this time, though transfermarkt's Russian and German coverage teams presently report a figure of €4 million. This constitutes a loss of €3 million from what the club paid AS Roma for him in Ja nary 2015.
Die Werkself gave Jedvaj a proper send-off on social media, thanking him for his 109 competitive appearances in the tricot of Germany's red company team. He made only eight appearances in the campaign recently completed.
