Alexander Nübel currently ruling out another loan spell for the 2026/27 season as revealed on Monday, 6 October.

If Manuel Neuer extends his contract once again, a permanent transfer for Nübel appears to be the most likely option at Bayern Munich.

A permanent move to VfB Stuttgart after the end of the season is considered unlikely at this stage.

Following his contract extension with Bayern last April, he earns between €11–12million gross per year in an ideal season.

His loan deal with Stuttgart runs until 2026 while are VfB currently covering around one-third of his salary at Bayern.

Nübel had been an invaluable cog in Sebastian Hoeneß' team since his arrival, with 27 clean sheets in 89 games across all competitions.
