Olise and Kimmich expected to avoid two-game ban for perceived intentional bookings

UEFA's disciplinary committee has supposedly decided against handing down suspensions to Bayern Munich stars Michael Olise and Joshua Kimmich, according to L'Équipe.
The two midfielders were accused of picking up intentional yellow cards during Bayern's 6-1 win over Atalanta on Tuesday – in doing so, they would be suspended for the second-leg game.
With the Bavarians cruising in Bergamo, both players picked up bookings in the 77th- and 83rd-minute respectively, meaning they won't feature in next Wednesday's rematch.
Talks of opening proceedings and initiating a two-game ban on both players was discussed, but it appears European football's governing body has refrained from doing so.
However, whether the duo intentionally picked up yellow cards late in the game could not be proven against the German central midfielder and French right winger.
Therefore, two of Vincent Kompany's key players will be suspended for the rematch with Atalanta, but back for a potential quarter-final against Real Madrid or Manchester City.
