Celtic FC are continuing to push for SC Paderborn star Mika Baur ahead of the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.

However, according to Sky Germany, the newly promoted Bundesliga outfit feel no pressure to sell the attacking midfielder.

Despite the 22-year-old's contract expiring in summer of 2027, the club's bosses are prepared to lose him for free.

Paderborn feel no pressure to cash in on Baur and reportedly are planning with him going into the new season set to unfold.

Last campaign, Baur produced 4 goals and 3 assists as the eastern club from North-Rhine Westphalia were promoted.

Should Baur leave to join Celtic, he would follow in the footsteps of Nicolas Kühn who has a fine 2024-25 campaign with the Scottish giants.
