Al Qadsiah set price tag for Puertas as Bremen face competition

Werder Bremen have reportedly been dealt a blow in their attempts to retain Cameron Puertas for the upcoming Bundesliga season.
According to BILD, there are now new signals from his parent club Al Qadsiah, which are not good news for the northern topflight club.
The tabloid suggests Al Qadsiah is demanding €10million – a few too great for Bremen, who previously let his purchase option expire.
The midfielder himself wants to join Bremen permanently, but is also open to other clubs should Werder fail to reach an agreement.
Meanwhile, several Premier League and Bundesliga clubs have recently inquired about Puertas, whose contract expires next summer.
Accordingly, it seems quite possible that Bremen will lose out in the race for Puertas given his price tag and the competition.
