Having signed a contract extension this morning, Eintracht Frankfurt's Dino Toppmöller spoke at his press conference ahead of their game with SC Freiburg.

After expressing his pride and happiness as the head coach of the Hessen club, the 44-year-old stated they must approach the Europa-Park Stadion with caution.

"It's an extraordinary match against Freiburg. We know that Freiburg is very stable, very hard-working, and extremely dangerous going forward.

"In the end, as always, what counts is what we bring to the pitch. It's about preparing the boys optimally. We'll go there with great desire and enthusiasm. We're not afraid of losing.

"We all know that we have to and want to perform to our maximum on Saturday. We all absolutely want to advance to the Champions League with an optimal performance; that's no secret," he added.

Finally, Toppmöller gave a personnel update on his squad ahead of their final game before praising Algerian midfielder Farès Chaïbi in particular.

"We'll have to see if Tuta can play. If not, we have good options with [Nnamdi] Collins and [Aurele] Amenda.

“Chaïbi brings great intensity to the pitch, and we want to see moments like his assist against St. Pauli more consistently, and we're working on that. If he brings what he's capable of to the pitch, he's an outstanding player,” he explained.
