Victor Boniface makes surprising return to team training
Victor Boniface has made another major stride in his recovery by rejoining Werder Bremen's team training on Wednesday.

Just one day after returning to Werder Bremen’s training ground ahead of schedule, Victor Boniface took another major step forward on Wednesday.
As reported by local outlet Deichstube, the 25-year-old surprisingly participated in parts of team training for the first time since his knee surgery in early January.
Following the operation, it was widely assumed that the Bayer Leverkusen loanee would not feature again this season.
A return against RB Leipzig this Saturday probably still comes too soon for Boniface, but given his rapid progress, he could still make an impact for the Green Whites before the season ends.
