Sky Germany can confirm that VfL Wolfsburg midfielder Lovro Majer is on the verge of a transfer to AEK Athens.

After today's medical, the 28-year-old will reportedly sign a contract until 2030 and will earn up to €2million per annum.

Meanwhile, Andreas Skov Olsen is also ready to leave the Autostadt club, according to journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu.

An agreement between the relegated Bundesliga side and Başakşehir means the right winger will depart on loan.

There is also talk of an option to buy for the Dane, who joined Glasgow Rangers on loan in the second half of last season.

Now Skov Olsen, who moved to Wolfsburg for €15million in January 2025, wants to make a fresh start in Turkey to revive his career.
