Although his contract with TSG Hoffenheim runs until 2029, Fisnik Asllani is widely expected to leave the club during the summer transfer window.

So far, Borussia Dortmund have been the clear frontrunners for the 23-year-old striker, who could arrive to strengthen their attack with Karim Adeyemi set to join FC Barcelona and Serhou Guirassy's future still uncertain.

However, no final agreement has been reached between Dortmund and Asllani, with the striker reportedly delaying a decision in the hope that Barcelona will step up their interest in him, according to Spanish publication Sport.

According to the report, Asllani and his representatives have already held talks with Barcelona, with the final decision on whether to pursue a move now lying with head coach Hansi Flick.

Asllani reportedly has a €29m release clause in his contract with Hoffenheim.
