Only six first-team players were available as FC Bayern started their pre-season preparations on Tuesday afternoon. Sven Ulreich and Tom Bischof were present in the first training session at Säbener Straße, while Arijon Ibrahimović, João Palhinha, Sacha Boey and Armindo Sieb were able to join them after the end of their loan deals at various clubs.

U19 coach Leonhard Haas and the newly-appointed Bayern II coach Dante joined the sessions with more than 35 youth players on the site. Wisdom Mike and Felipe Chávez were among the U23 and U19 players present in the training session.

Meanwhile, Serge Gnabry and Lennart Karl continued their rehab training. Both players missed the World Cup due to serious injuries, and they’re not yet ready to train with the team. Bryan Zaragoza was another absentee as Bild reported he was out due to knee inflammation.
