According to Bild, Bayern have already tabled an offer of €52 million for Luis Diaz and set an internal spending limit of €60 million. However, Liverpool are holding firm and are unlikely to consider any offer below €80 million, casting doubt on Bayern's ability to secure the Colombian international.

With the Diaz deal stalling, Bayern are exploring alternatives. One name now under consideration is 30-year-old Leandro Trossard. The Belgian international with 45 caps for the Red Devils is reportedly being considered as a more affordable and realistic option.

Trossard is now represented by German agent Dirk Hebel as of July, which could help facilitate a potential move to the Bundesliga. He is under contract with Arsenal until next year, though the Gunners are reportedly keen on extending the deal.

Since joining Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023 for €24 million, Trossard has made 124 appearances, contributing 28 goals and 23 assists.

His versatility, experience, and lower price tag could make him a sensible choice if Bayern are forced to abandon the Diaz pursuit.
