According to several reports, Bayern Munich remain hopeful of bringing Luis Díaz to Germany from Liverpool.

However, the Bavarians have a number of alternatives they could turn to if their move for the Colombian international collapses.

ESPN reports that the German champions have made inquiries about Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, with the 21-year-old attacker reportedly considered an alternative to Díaz.

Whether a move for Garnacho is actually realistic is uncertain, as the young winger is said to prefer staying in the Premier League.

Clubs such as Chelsea and Aston Villa have also been linked with Garnacho, who is expected to leave Manchester United after falling out with manager Rúben Amorim.

RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons and AC Milan’s Rafael Leão have also been mentioned as possible alternatives to Luis Díaz.
