Chelsea open talks with Adeyemi, Bild reports

Chelsea are reported to have opened talks with Borussia Dortmund's Karim Adeyemi.

 

Borussia Dortmund are making progress on the transfer front, having confirmed the signing of Waldemar Anton from Stuttgart and with Serhou Guirassy and Pascal Gross set to follow soon.

Now Bild has news on the departure front, claiming that Karim Adeyemi could be on his way out.

According to the German tabloid, Chelsea are keen on the 22-year-old and have already been in contact with him, with talks with Dortmund to follow shortly.

Juventus, AC Milan and Liverpool have also been linked with Adeyemi, who would cost a fee in excess of 30 million.

In addition to Adeyemi, Sebastien Haller, Saih Özcan, Giovanni Reyna and Emre Can have all been linked with moves away from Dortmund.

Adeyemi joined Dortmund from RB Salzburg in 2022 for a reported fee of €30 million.

Since then, the German attacker has made 66 appearances for the Black and Yellows, scoring 14 goals and laying on eight assists.
