Alejandro Grimaldo has reportedly agreed personal terms with Atlético Madrid, but Bayer Leverkusen’s valuation of the player could prove to be a stumbling block.

Spanish media reports suggest Atlético are prepared to offer around €10-12 million, but Kicker claims this figure falls well short of what Leverkusen are willing to accept.

The German outlet states that the Bundesliga outfit have set a minimum asking price of €30 million for their Spanish full-back and are not open to lowering that demand significantly.

Kicker further reports that if Atlético fail to come close to that valuation, Bayer 04 Leverkusen would be prepared to keep Grimaldo, even if it means risking losing him on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer.
