Bayern Munich are expected to allow Eric Dier to leave the club as a free agent at the end of the season.

According to Sport Bild, the 31-year-old's contract, which expires at the end of the season, is unlikely to be renewed.

Although Dier has made a positive impression with his performances and behaviour, he has no future at the Allianz Arena.

Dayot Upamecano and Min-jae Kim top the pecking order at the heart of the defence, with Hiroki Ito and Josip Stanisic offering alternatives.

Bayern could even add another top centre-back to their ranks in the summer, according to Sport Bild.

Dier joined the Bavarians from Tottenham in January 2024.
