Christopher Nkunku is widely expected to leave AC Milan just one year after joining the club from Chelsea for around €37 million, with the Frenchman having been placed on the transfer list.

Given Nkunku’s high salary, a loan deal currently appears to be the most likely option.

According to L’Équipe, a return to RB Leipzig, where the attacker starred between 2019 and 2023, is a possibility.

The French outlet also names Borussia Dortmund among Nkunku's suitors. The Bundesliga side could turn their attention to the 28-year-old after dropping out of the race for 1. FC Köln winger Said El Mala.

The German duo face strong competition from Barcelona, however, with the report claiming that the La Liga giants have already held talks with Nkunku’s representatives and see him as a potential replacement for Ferran Torres, who is set to join Paris Saint-Germain.
