Dortmund monitoring Ajax prospect Rayane Bounida

The Belgian-born Moroccan would cover a number of positions in attack for the Westphalians who have had a quiet transfer window thus far by their standards.

Rayane Bounida is reportedly listed as a summer target for Borussia Dortmund, according to Sacha Tavolieri.

However, Tavolieri notes that BVB currently has other transfer priorities and sales to complete before making any moves for Bounida.

Ajax Amsterdam has not ruled out a sale, but does not want to let the attacking midfielder leave cheaply. His contract runs until 2028.

The Belgian-born right-footed player made his debut for the Moroccan national team at the end of May, but missed out on the World Cup.

Bounida, who made his debut for the Eredivise club in December 2024, has played 29 games for Ajax, providing two goals and nine assists.

The 20-year-old also offers great versatility, most recently playing in a central attacking position, but also on the wings.

Ultimately, Dortmund's preferred solution for the attacking midfield position is actually Konstantinos Karetsas.

BVB has already reached a player agreement, however, they have not yet been able to settle on a deal with KRC Genk for the 18-year-old.
