After his agent hinted at a possible move today, Sky Germany have confirmed that Niclas Füllkrug wants to leave West Ham this winter.

The London club is informed about the situation and open to all options - a loan or swap deal in January seems to be realistic.

Füllkrug wants to leave England, with the Bundesliga among  the possible destinations, while other leagues are also being explored.

However, he is contracted to the Hammers until 2028 and is expected to return to the squad this weekend having regained full fitness.

Transfer journalist Patrick Berger is aware of the striker's main goal which is fighting for a place in Germany’s 2026 World Cup squad.
