According to a report by Sky Germany, West Ham United want to offload out-of-favour striker Niclas Füllkrug this summer.

Sky even makes a bold claim that Füllkrug would be available "very, very cheaply," with even a free transfer being considered.

As a result, the pay-TV channel sees the German international as VfL Wolfsburg’s “dream transfer target” for the summer.

In the event the relegation-threatened side stay in the Bundesliga, Füllkrug will be given the role of being a leader for the squad.

Sky also notes that there has been direct talks between the Lower Saxony side and Füllkrug, but no decision has been made yet.

According to their information, Wolfsburg has held very concrete talks with the player's representatives in recent weeks.

West Ham would be willing to let him leave for a low fee, with club in the MLS, Italy, Spain and Werder Bremen are all options for the summer.
