Hamburger SV are on the verge of securing Rayan Philippe, according to the latest update from Sky Germany.
The striker was high on the Hanseatic club's shortlist, and a full verbal agreement has now been reached.
Final details are still to be clarified with Eintracht Braunschweig. A fee in the region of €2.5million and €3.5million is expected.
The 24-year-old Frenchman bagged 13 goals and provided 6 assists in 31 games for the 2.Bundesliga outfit.
Philippe tends to play as an out-and-out number nine, but can also play in an attacking midfield role or on the flanks.
