Mere days after his contract with SpVgg Greuther Fürth expired, Branimir Hrgota has already found his next destination.

The versatile attacker, once of Borussia Mönchengladbach, has signed with Bundesliga relegated side FC St. Pauli.

Hrgota wore the Fürth jersey for seven years, securing their Bundesliga survival this year in the play-offs against Rot-Weiss Essen.

“We are delighted that we were able to convince Branimir to join FC St. Pauli," sporting director Andreas Bornemann said of the signing.

"His versatility significantly expands our attacking options. He also possesses a wealth of experience.

"He has also repeatedly demonstrated his ability to take responsibility and make a difference in crucial matches.”
