Jadon Sancho has been linked with a return to Borussia Dortmund following confirmation that Chelsea will not make his loan from Manchester United permanent.

However, speaking to Ruhr Nachrichten on Wednesday, BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl cooled speculation.

“Contact with Jadon is always there, of course, because we have a very long history. But it’s not a topic at the moment,” Kehl said.

“We have other priorities, which is why this personnel matter has probably been discussed more in the media than internally.”

Still, Kehl and his team remain open to potential moves in the transfer market.

“There will be many stories again, and possibly opportunities on the market. But for now, we are very satisfied with our squad. I believe we have a good squad structure," he said.

The Black and Yellows announced the signing of Jobe Bellingham from Sunderland on Tuesday.
