Miroslav Klose - a name which every fan of German and/or Bundesliga football knows. An international superstar - and now a superstar-coach on the sidelines for Nürnberg in Germany's 2nd division. Klose has brought back life and excitement into the former Bundesliga club - and has big plans for the future.

Nürnberg currently rank 7th in the 2. Bundesliga after 26 games with only a 4-points-gap to Paderborn in 3rd - a return to the Bundesliga remains an option this season. This scenario was pretty much unthinkable for every Nürnberg fan before the start of the season; Klose seems to have found the right plan for his current club!

In an interview with “DPA”, Klose speaks of his dream to someday manage a team in the Champions League.

“I would lie, if that wasn't the truth”, says Klose. But in the meantime, Germany's record goalscorer feels very comfortable in Nürnberg:

“Everything is well between Nürnberg and me, I feel very good. Even though I collapse into my bed every night, the work here is a lot of fun!”

Klose has excelled in his development of young players in Nürnberg and already turned players like Finn Jeltsch, Jens Castrop and especially Stefanos Tzimas (most valuable 2. Bundesliga player ever with a market value of €22 million) into very good players and extremely valuable assets for Nürnberg.

If Klose reaches his goal of the Champions League with Nürnberg remains to be seen - but if he continues to excel in developing talents like he's doing right now, it will only be a matter of time until a club from the Champions League comes knocking.
