For some time now, 1. FC Köln have been in agreement with Mikey Moore over a one-year loan move from Tottenham, but the deal has yet to be completed.

According to reports, Moore has not yet been given the green light to leave by Tottenham, with the club waiting for new arrivals in attack.

Nevertheless, Köln remain confident that the 19-year-old will make the switch to Germany before the transfer window closes, Bild reports.

Tottenham are reportedly closing in on Manchester City duo Savinho and Omar Marmoush, and should both deals go through, Moore could finally be given the green light to join Köln.

Köln sporting chief Thomas Kessler recently admitted that “major transfers in the Premier League” could have an impact on the Billy Goats' plans.

“One or two rumours that have been doing the rounds for a very long time are at least not entirely wrong,” he said, according to Express.de.

“And it could also be that major transfers in the Premier League have a direct impact on our squad planning. But we’ll see,” he added with a wink.

Moore was in the starting lineup for Tottenham’s Premier League opening-day 3-0 defeat to Brentford at the weekend.
