More than three months after it was announced that Julian Brandt’s contract with Borussia Dortmund would not be extended beyond the summer, the 30-year-old is still yet to find a new club.

A new potential destination now appears to have emerged for Brandt, with the Yorkshire Evening Post reporting that Leeds United are looking into the possibility of signing the attacking midfielder.

According to the report, Leeds see themselves as one of several options for Brandt, with at least one Champions League club showing interest as well.

Previously, clubs such as Galatasaray and Atlético Madrid have also been linked with the former Bayer Leverkusen midfielder.

Brandt has made 383 appearances in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund, racking up 77 goals and 92 assists.
