RB Leipzig are reportedly looking for a buyer for Castello Lukeba in order to generate funds and increase their financial flexibility during the summer transfer window.

The centre-back has a release clause of €80 million, but no club appears willing to meet that valuation.

Therefore, according to Kicker, the Bundesliga side are now prepared to let the 23-year-old leave for a fee of around €60 million.

If they fail to offload the Frenchman, it would increase pressure on the club’s management to reconsider their stance on Yan Diomande, who is currently deemed not for sale.

With reports suggesting he has agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain, Diomande has openly declared himself open to a summer move.

However, RB Leipzig sporting managing director Marcel Schäfer recently reiterated that the club’s plan is for the Ivorian winger to remain for another season.
