According to the latest report produced by WAZ, Bayer Leverkusen are interested in Cajetan Lenz from VfL Bochum.

The 19-year-old, who is one of Bochum's revelations this season, is being regularly scouted by the German runners-up.

Other top clubs in Germany – which have yet to be revealed – are also said to have Lenz on their radars for a potential transfer.

Lenz has been a regular starter in a complicated season with different coaches, and Uwe Rösler has high hopes for him.

During last weekend's 2-0 win over Eintracht Braunschweig, the U-20 international also scored his first professional goal.

Lenz is currently under contract with the German second-division club until 2029, so they hold some power when it comes to his future.
