Amine Adli has put pen to paper on a contract extension with Bayer 04 Leverkusen.

On Friday afternoon, the German champions announced a new deal until 2028 for the 24-year-old attacking midfielder, who is currently sidelined due to a broken fibula.

“Amine's impact on our game is huge, but he has also been an important factor in the success of Bayer 04 in the dressing room. We are delighted that we can continue to rely on his sporting and human qualities in the future,” said Bayer 04 managing director for sport Simon Rolfes.

Adli, who joined Leverkusen from French side Toulouse in the summer of 2021, commented:

“We have a special bond in the dressing room, on the pitch and with our fans. My expectations have been more than fulfilled and I will do everything I can to ensure that we continue to enjoy great times and win titles here in the future. I am proud to wear the shirt of this club.”

In total, Adli has scored 21 goals and provided 22 assists in 126 matches for Bayer Leverkusen.
