Bayer Leverkusen have submitted a new €25 million plus add-ons offer for Equi Fernández in the last hours.

Sky Germany's journalist Patrick Berger reports that the total package amounts to just under €30 million.

Al Qadsiah and Leverkusen are now negotiating details, while an agreement with the player is in place on a long term contract.

The potential signing of Fernández could have an impact on Aleix García's future - clubs from Spain and other European clubs are interested.

Bayer Leverkusen don't have to sell and aren't necessarily planning to, but there's a chance it could happen.

Last season, Fernández provided a solitary goal and 3 assists over the course of 32 Saudi Pro League games.
