Bayern Munich will have to manage without Manuel Neuer when they face VfB Stuttgart in the DFB-Pokal final in Berlin on Saturday.
According to Sky Germany, the 40-year-old veteran will miss the match due to the calf injury he sustained in last week’s 5-1 victory over 1. FC Köln.
Neuer’s recovery is understood to be going well, but he doesn't want to take any risks ahead of the World Cup and will therefore not be available.
This means Jonas Urbig will start in goal for the German champions at the Olympiastadion on Saturday.
The 22-year-old has already made 19 appearances for Bayern this season.
