Rose, Reus, and Hummels discuss defensive issues: "We need to take ourselves to task."
Borussia Dortmund supporters cannot accuse their team of failing to supply exciting football at the moment. Captain, defensive leader, and head-coach are still not entirely satisfied with the number off goals conceded.

Asked about the two goals conceded to visiting 1. FC Union Berlin on Sunday evening, BVB trainer Marco Rose summed them up in one word: "Unnecessary".
"That should get on our nerves," the head-coach added, "That costs us energy that we can't always conjure up just like that. We need some self-skewering there. We need to take ourselves to task and work on it."
"We make it unnecessarily difficult for ourselves," team captain Marco Reus concurred, "We let in another silly set-piece goal. That's the fourth or fifth now. We simply have to defend set-pieces better."
Recently returned veteran defensive "quarterback" Mats Hummels, never shy of criticizing his team's defending in set-piece situations, had some words about the team's performance in open play this time.
"We have to occupy the spaces better," Hummels added in his own post-match interview, "We shrink the field to much when we have possession in certain areas of the pitch. We then lose balls too easily. We don't always remain sharp."
