Borussia Mönchengladbach fell to their third straight Bundesliga defeat as they were beaten 4-1 by RB Leipzig at Red Bull Arena earlier today.

Gladbach were trailing 2-0 at the break, but pulled one back in the 88th minute, only two concede two goals in the closing minutes.

Speaking after the final whistle, Gladbach captain Lars Stindl expressed his frustration with the performance.

"We didn't play well in the first half, then we pulled ourselves together. The second half was okay, at least in terms of effort, commitment and holding our own," Stindl told reporters.

"Not much is working for us at the moment playing wise, and we have to work on that. At least we fought back and came close again. But then we conceded two more goals and ended up losing 4-1 because everyone did something for themselves and not together," he said.
