Contradicting reports about Haaland's release clause

Norwegian reporter Jan Aage Fjørtoft has dismissed a report from Bild, which claims that the release clause in Erling Haaland's Borussia Dortmund contract expires on April 30.
Erling Haaland is widely expected to leave Borussia Dortmund this summer, with the striker having a €75 million release clause in his contract.

Bild is now reporting that the striker needs to make a decision on his future next month at the latest, claiming that the clause has to be activated before April 30.

However, according to Norwegian reporter and former Eintracht Frankfurt striker Jan Aage Fjørtoft, it's not true that the clause expires at the end of April.

According to reports, Manchester City and Real Madrid are leading the race for the Norwegian international.

Haaland, who has scored 23 goals in 21 games for Dortmund this season, made his return from injury in last week's 1-0 win over Arminia Bielefeld.
