Werder Bremen vs. Eintracht Frankfurt preview: Is another entertaining encounter in store for the hosts?
Werder Bremen will look to continue their unbeaten start to the season when they face Eintracht Frankfurt who are aiming to clinch their first win in the Bundesliga this term.
Werder Bremen
Bremen have fared well in their return to the top flight after avoiding defeat in their opening three league games.
The newly-promoted side have been involved in three entertaining fixtures. They had to settle for a point on the opening weekend of the season following Josua Guilavogui's late equaliser, which ensured their encounter with Wolfsburg finished 2-2.
While they were denied by a late strike in their opening game, they were saved by a stoppage-time equaliser in their first home contest of the season, with Oliver Burke snatching a point against Stuttgart as Bremen played out consecutive 2-2 draws.
After taking two points from as many games, they looked set to lose for the first time this season when they trailed Borussia Dortmund 2-0 last weekend. Even when Lee Buchanan equalised in the 89th minute it looked to be a consolation goal. However, a Niklas Schmidt leveller followed in the 93rd minute before Burke won the game moments later, sealing Bremen's first win of the campaign in dramatic fashion.
The hosts will now have the chance to claim consecutive victories on Sunday, and they enter the contest in fine goalscoring form after finding the net on at least two occasions in all four of their competitive matches this season.

Bremen are set to be without the services of Mitchell Weiser, Eren Dinkci and Jean-Manuel Mbom for Sunday's contest.
Eintracht Frankfurt
In contrast to their hosts, Frankfurt have struggled in the early stages of the season.
Since winning in the first round of the DFB-Pokal against Magdeburg, Frankfurt have experienced a four-game winless run, which includes a 6-1 Bundesliga defeat to Bayern Munich and a 2-0 loss to Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup.
However, they have offered some sort of response in their last two matches, playing out consecutive draws. Daichi Kamada ensured his side drew 1-1 against Hertha BSC, before Japan international found the net once again last Sunday against FC Köln, but an 82nd-minute strike from Jan Thielmann denied Frankfurt a chance to claim their first league victory of the season.
Although Oliver Glasner's side have drawn four of their previous five Bundesliga matches, they are currently winless in 11 league games.
Sunday's visitors will need to improve at both ends of the pitch if they want to end their winless run. They have scored more than one goal in two of their last 11 league matches, while they have conceded in each of their previous nine encounters in the Bundesliga.
Frankfurt will hope they can pick up a couple of positive results before their Europa League title defence begins with a home game against Sporting Lisbon.
