Werner and Füllkrug comment on loss, Weiser due for more examinations tomorrow
SV Werder Bremen head-coach Ole Werner and Niclas Füllkrug spoke on his team's performance following Saturday's 0-2 loss to Dortmund.
The head-coach of the Hanseaten also provided an injury update on Mitchell Weiser, potentially a critical loss for the newly promoted team in the coming weeks.

Head-coach Ole Werner wished to emphasize that his team hadn't turned in a terrible performance during his post-match interview. He nevertheless also wished to emphasize that it wasn't particularly great.
"That wasn't a performance that sinks us necessarily," Werner told the Sky mics, "but it wasn't one deserving of a win against Borussia Dortmund either."
Lead striker Niclas Füllkrug declared himself "pissed off" at how the team had regressed from previous matches. After piecing together some momentum with back-to-back wins against Wolfsburg and Stuttgart, the northerners couldn't parlay the recent form into a winning streak in front of their hometown fans.
"We played a lot of balls into 'no man's land' today," Füllkrug told his post-match interviewer, "Our attacking play up front was poorly played out. We've done that much better in the last two games. Overall, it was not a good performance from us today."
The highly physical affair led to players from both sides getting subbed off injured. Dortmund trainer Edin Terzic has already expressed grave concern for BVB striker Youssoufa Moukoko after he sustained what might have been a shin-fracture. Bremen lost crucial "assist-meister" Mitchell Weiser to an ankle injury late in the game.
Weiser - back from a suspension that clearly adversely affected his team's play last week - played through a head injury that left him with a bloody gash sporting a blood-stained turban. The 28-year-old still wasn't able to finish the match after twisting his ankle on a late duel. Weiser couldn't leave the pitch on his own power and had to be escorted off the pitch by members of the team's medical staff.
"The ankle will not be examined in more detail until tomorrow," Werner revealed after the match, "As for the head injury, it doesn't appear to be too bad."
