Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol's blockbuster move to Man City should be completed shortly, at least according to Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. Gvardiol apparently completed the first part of his Man City medical yesterday and could be unveiled as a new signing as early as today. How much money Leipzig will pocket for the star defender remains to be seen.

Leipzig themselves have already signed an ostensible replacement for Gvardiol in the form of PSG teenager El Chadaille Bitshiabu. The German Red Bulls also confirmed the arrival of PSG attacker Xavi Simons on a season-long loan-deal yesterday. Romano firmly asserts that the Gvardiol deal is done, with both clubs in agreement on all the details.
